Delete your 369 account

From the app

1. Open the profile tab.
2. Tap settings (the gear, at the top).
3. Scroll down to account and tap delete my account.
4. If you want, tell us why you are leaving. It is optional.
5. Tap delete my account to confirm.

It cannot be undone and there is no copy. If you want to keep something, ask first for a copy of your data at hola@369app.lat.

If you connected Apple Health, deleting your 369 account does not delete anything in Health. To remove 369's permission, go to Health › your profile › Apps › 369 on your iPhone.

What is deleted

• Your profile: username, name, photo, bio, bib number, sport and city.
• Your activities, with their metrics and traces.
• Your posts, with their images, thumbnails and video clips.
• Your followers, who you follow, your requests and your blocks.
• Your reactions and the likes you gave.
• Your competitions.
• Your weight, your birth year, your preferences and your consents.
• Your notices and the devices registered for notifications.
• Your sign-in account: email and password.

What stays

• Your comments on other people's posts, without your name or photo next to them.
• Your name in notices other people already received. They go when they drop out of that person's latest 200 notices. A notification that already reached another phone cannot be deleted.
• Reports you made or that were made about what you posted, and their moderation case files. We keep them to protect other people and to be able to answer an authority, for 2 years from the decision.
• Receipts:
  • The one for your account deletion: the date you requested it, the date it finished, the reason if you wrote one, and how many items were deleted. It does not contain your username, your name or your photo.
  • If you had deleted activities one by one before, the receipt for each: sport, date, duration and distance, without the trace or the photos.
  • We keep them for 4 years from the deletion.
• Your username (the @), reserved. It is not freed: it is reserved for 365 days so nobody can pass as you. After that, someone else can take it.
• An empty card with your internal identifier, the date you created the account and the mark "account deleted". People who had you in a list see "account deleted".
• Technical records that name you only by your internal identifier, without your name: the views you gave to other people's posts, blocks other people made of you and server logs. Server logs are kept for 30 days.
• If an organizer had verified you in a competition, the mark that you asked to leave their list or that we removed you, with an encrypted fingerprint of your email. It stops their list from adding you again.

Timing

• Deletion starts when you confirm and runs in stages.
• It finishes within a maximum of 30 calendar days from your confirmation. In practice it takes seconds.
• If the app closes halfway through, sign in again and repeat "delete my account": deletion continues where it stopped.
• Other people's "who to follow" suggestions are refreshed every night: within a day at most, you are no longer suggested.

If you cannot get into the app

1. If you forgot your password, first try "i forgot my password" on the sign-in screen.
2. If you still cannot, write to hola@369app.lat from your account's email, with the subject "delete my account" and your username if you remember it.
3. If you write from another email, we will ask you to prove the account is yours.
4. We confirm we received the request and delete the account within 10 business days. What is deleted and what stays is the same as when you do it from the app.
